- Dallas Semiconductor's Driver Product line supports the RS-232 industry standard, the most widely used serial communications standard in the world. The DS232A High-Speed Transmitter/Receiver contains two drivers and two receivers, allowing two-way data communication with handshake. The DS232A pair generates RS-232 voltage levels from a single ±5-volt power supply. Onboard charge pumps convert the +5-volt supply to ±10 volts, eliminating the need for additional ±12-volt supplies. The driver has a data rate of up to 250kbits/second across both the commercial and industrial temperature ranges, the fastest in the industry.
- IMP offers a full line of Electroluminescent (EL) lamp driver integrated circuits. The four EL lamp-driving functions are integrated on chip. These are the switch-mode power supply, its high-frequency oscillator, the high-voltage H-bridge lamp driver and its low-frequency oscillator.
